Why does Durable CoQ10 use ubiquinone and not ubiquinol? ?Updated an hour ago
Ubiquinol is the reduced form of ubiquinone, and the body naturally converts between these two forms of CoQ10. Ubiquinol is sometimes promoted as superior because it is generally better absorbed than standard ubiquinone, but not all ubiquinone forms are created equal. Durable CoQ10 uses Ubiqsome® CoQ10 Phytosome™, an advanced form of ubiquinone shown to provide significantly greater absorption than standard CoQ10—up to 9x better—while enhancing delivery into cells. Dr. Passero chose this form because ubiquinone has an extensive body of research behind it, and the Ubiqsome® delivery system provides excellent absorption without requiring the additional expense associated with ubiquinol. This allows us to offer a highly bioavailable form of CoQ10 while keeping the formula more accessible for customers.
